About Ethos

Ethos Physiotherapy was founded by Edward Carroll after noticing a lack of availability of private physiotherapy for individuals who could not get to clinic. We can work to kick-start your rehabilitation while you wait to be able to drive, get to a clinic by yourself or even while you wait for your NHS services and appointments to start.

Through simple, honest and evidence based treatment we can help get you to where you need to be. We feel collaboration is key and are happy to work with your existing physiotherapist or communicate with your consultants, sports medicine doctors or general practitioners.

Ed qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc Hons Physiotherapy in 2009. He has extensive experience across NHS physiotherapy from his time at Royal Hampshire County Hospital and working in GP surgeries across Hampshire and Surrey. He now specialises in rehabilitation after injury and in particular sports injuries and rehabilitation of running related injuries.

He believes exercise is fundamental to the rehabilitation of injuries and that bodies have an incredible ability to heal and recover if given the right chance and information.  The body has tremendous capacity to perform when trained and exposed to the right stimulus at the right time. Ed lives with his family in Haslemere and when not at work can be found representing Haslemere Rugby Club, playing golf or exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Surrey Hills and South Downs with his wife and young family.  He is a keen surfer when opportunity arises and loves the sea.

He is also available in clinic at The Physiotherapy Centre, Haslemere and Bev Ball Physio Clinic, Petersfield.
